ive put 60k miles on mine in 1y and 10m......and shes still running strong. but forged motor will hopefully be next year sometime

5th overall in class and 5th overall in PAX at local event this weekend.
Oil change did not fix the ticking sound that's getting louder when the engine is cold. Yay valve train noise. Might look into getting the entire engine rebuilt.

are spacers needed with rx-8 wheels? whats a decent price these days? found some local for 550 w/ nitto nt01 r compund tires but they have a little curb rash and def need painted

$300 without tires is common, so depends what condition the tires are in & how bad the curb rash is...

drove the poor thing to school again, running like s*** and no power...no SEL to help me diagnos the problem though.

lumpy horrible idle, no power...poor car.

First time I went 400 miles on a tank of gas. Averaged out to 29.4mpg, but importantly, it was combined highway/city/backroads driving with some hard merges and racing my buddy on his motorcycle (Suzuki SV650 - not that fast)

Shows what I love about this car - not a slouch, fun as hell to drive, and as practical as anything out there!

It's what I love too. I made it 400 miles from VA back to Rochester and the gas light came on as I pulled into the driveway, which means 1.5 gallons still left in the tank.

I've managed almost 600 but that was doing no more than 55 and that was with my 1.8L...my 2.0 burns more but I tend to go WOT

Man that would kill me! I'm always rolling around 75-80 on the highway so is traffic for the most part.

Ya, going 55 in a 65 (i.e. on a freeway) should be a ticket-able offense, IMHO...

I don't do less than 70 on the freeway if traffic permits...I only did that 1 time driving from virginia beach and back to see what I could get out of a tank.

i did about 350 miles on one tank this weekend, to ocean city and back. around 70-80mph avrg speed. 3 people and bunch of stuff in the car
