My calculated mileage is still going down...im blaming cold weather. Since my route doesnt change I figure 2-3 mpg differene between summer and winter is reasonable
Quick question: p0401 is a constant code for me (egr fault related), but it still doesnt come on constant enough for me to really fix anything. Erase and go for me (scantool). My theory is if the egr is screwing upthat means im not getting as much exhaust back through the intake as normal, so shouldnt more fuel and air be going in due to computer compensation?
I only ask because ive never seen my averages so low, but im not ready to blame it on bad sensors or leaky injectors, etc. p0401 is the only code I get. It can come on two time in one day, or not for a month at a time.
Historically ive gotten 20-21 mpg in winter, now Im seeing more 19s, and its been very mild so far
Idk how many egr faults need to happen until it throws a code, and I dont know if my theory is even enough to change the mileage by that much
