What have you done to your MS3 today?

I'm seriously hooked on the dashhawk. I'm starting to wonder now, if I should get rid of the CP-e dash pod because I've got the dashhawk set up to monitor IAT, ECT, boost/vaccuum, and RPM (haven't picked a 4th one yet....still playing around with it). The only gauge I would buy at this point is oil pressure.

I washed off the Dragon dust and the coating of love bug guts that were covering the front of the car. Luckily, since my road trip to the Dragon (Deal's Gap) came first, the dirt & grime from that served as a barrier between the clear coat & the love bug innards I accumulated during the past week or so. LOL

I don't wash my cars often, so this is a significant occasion for me. I actually kind of enjoyed myself, even though it was about a zillion degrees in Tampa today.

That's precisely why I'm not looking forward to changing my brakes tomorrow (and probably doing a seafoam treatment). I need a climate controlled garage.

Why the downgrade?

probably cheaper to own/maintain, and not to mention, ins. probably drops hugely. Plus, its cheap to mod, although he wont see the same power...but thats ok

You're right bigdaddy. Currently own the MS3, P5, and my wife's Protege. Will sell the MS3 as soon as the right buyer comes along. After all said and done, we'll be putting $10K in the bank from doing this. That'll go a long way when the little Hankster comes along ;)

I came to the realization since owning the MS3 that it's too nice of a DD to just go to work and back. The P5 is fun to drive, albeit a lot less HP, and still just as practical. I didn't mod too much with the MS3 - a lot more cosmetic stuff than performance. And that'll be the same ratio with the P5, but even less mods. Gonna try to keep it pretty stock - I hope. I'm looking forward to the better MPG/cheaper gas, cheaper insurance, and maintenance costs :)

Took some quick shots after I got home tonight. Going to switch over the tag tomorrow from the MS3 to the P5, and change over the name on the title.

Hank, that is one seriously official "temp tag" :D. I need one that says, "November 2020". The "new" ride does look pretty sharp. Looks like more back seat room than the Speed.
