Potentially. Looking back on things, I think my MAF was involved in the flood at the duplex and got soaked. It was in a box that was on the ground. I know my stock downpipe was in the flood because it's rusted and scaley now.

do you guys think adding a boost gauge would decrease the retail value?

your car's value is going down anyway and I think it would be more of a benefit in the end. A properly working boost guage could help you maintain your car because it may bring problems things to light that you may have otherwise not found until they got worse or may not have noticed at all. My bro's aftermarket guage on his WRX was very helpful and helped us find diagnose several issues . It may even look good when you resell it because it shows the buyer that maintenance/car's health is important to you.

yeah, that's what i'd be worried about... the only thing i have changed is a K&N air filter. the only other things i'd even consider getting would be: the stock replacement throttle inlet tube and forge bypass valve. I should hope those wouldn't decrease the value! and you can't really tell (unless you know what you're looking for) that they aren't stock parts
