What have you done to your Mazda6 today?

Been a pretty slow week in here, hasn't it?

I guess it's just that time of year. Everyone's doing their planning for summer mods.

The most exciting thing I can report is that I did some traveling to Massachusetts which means I was able to get some 93 octane... (alright)

FINALLY getting to wash her today. After 4 weeks of on and off snow, salt, and sand. Supposed to have weather in the upper 50's all next week. However it will be busy melting all the snow. Which means my car will get filthy again.

Ordered a new power steering pump. Should be here in a few days. Until then I've got no power steering, so watch out!

OK, cue AC/DC........(band)(guitar)

Used Plasti-Dip spray to restore my rear bumper to OEM look. Stuff is easy to work with, and looks great! Matches all the other rubber/plastic on the car!

Would have posted pics, but everyones bumper already looks like mine now anyway.... so, (dunno) But if anyone wants before and after pics I took some for my benefit.

Thanks for the idea Quik! (thumb)..... of course thats a big never mind on that close up pic lol.

And for that AC/DC track that should be playing in your head right now.................... (Come on)...... (Everyone should know it.)......... Im "Back in Blaaaaack!!.....(rockon)(headbang)(rockon)(headbang)(rockon)(headbang)

Parts (rotors and pads) are on the way. I should get two packages tomorrow. Rear pads are still not yet shipped. I did some searches for who will install them (just to cold for me to learn to do). Dealer wanted $300, a major tire installer wanted $199, a local car place wanted $400-450 (WTF!), and another local place said $150. You can guess who I am going with when all the parts come.

Take a trip to Maine! I'll do it for a six-pack of Geary's. (thumb)

My luck the brakes would give out on the way plus the four tanks of gas each way at $45 a piece for a total of $360. Almost forgot the cost of the beer. Thanks for the offer, but...you know.

Well I got the rear brace installed.. took me about an hour due to the fact I had a baby car seat and I could not get the crap out that took me like 30 minutes

I dont rememebr i think its yellow

50/50 should cover it (don't add any water, it's premixed) Their is different mixtures depending on climate that contain less coolant and more water, but 50/50 covers all the bases. Pink is GM Dexcool, Green is what was in my 6s. They (colors) should be all interchangeable, but consult owners manual first.

Looks good KrGsMrNKusinagi, what hold that on, 3M?

Today I washed my 6, threw a coat of Quick Wax on, washed the windows. It got up to almost 50F today!
