What have you done to your Mazda6 today?

Both of are 6's are on crack.

Mine if you hold the unlock button the front windows roll down. well now only the passenger on rolls down.

And my dads ms6, the alarm is randomly going off at work. and he has to keep having other employees go out and turn it off for him lol.

and my 6=out of warranty
ms6- we cant get it to do it everytime so they would say "we cant replicate the problem so sorry. but anyway heres a 200 labor fee"

thats the electromagnetic clutch for the ac compressor... how did it come loose?

It came off completely. Now I gotta figure out how to put it back on if its even possible. The a/c compressor looks like it would be a major PITA to replace. And I dont have a garage to do it in.

did you unplug your battery or lose power? have you tried reseting the windows range of motion?

no my battery was only taken out once (about 20k miles ago after my stock battery exploded. no, I haven't tried reseting everything but ill try later on today

yes reset your car unplug the battery terminals for 15 minutes and then plug them back in

on your dads issue

sounds like a door, hood or trunk pin. If they get wet dirty, or out of adjustment, they will do that.

try resetting his battery just like your too but If its not the hood or trunk, watch his dome light and see if the door pins are going bad. Alot of times the dome light will come on when the door pins show an open door and set off the alarm.

Wiped down the mirror cowls and rear bumper inserts with some 303. Forget Armor-all, this stuff is 100x better and doesn't look greasy.

Got up and fixed the clutch pack on my a/c compressor. Rotated the tires and refilled up the frion for the a/c. Now off to work. woohoo . . . .

Just remembered he got his battery replaced like 2 months ago... and it was doing it before then so i dont think that is the problem.

After spending the morning drinking coffee and participating in an epic troll thread, I spent the afternoon washing and waxing. I also thoroughly washed, clayed and waxed the wheels; that took a good hour and-a-half by itself. They still look like s*** (curb rash, bubbling paint, etc...), but they look as good as they have since I bought the car.

The car looks pretty darn good right now. I'll try to get some pictures tomorrow.
