the one that came with my plan two years ago sucks and is dying. i need a replacement, preferrably one that flips because i do physical work and im always bumpin keys and the screens and s***. i looked on ebay but have no idea what phones are outdated or bad or people have good things to say about them. any AT&T cell phone workers here that work at the little cubicle at the mall lol? i dont want some ridiculous phone either that can do everything but teleport me to the moon. i just need to be able to flip it open and either talk or dial. thats it.

does att have their GSM service up yet in your area?
i have tmobile right now and GSM is the shizzat. . .i know cingular will have it up on in FL by the end of NOV
GSM gives you a lot more options with phones and they are generally cooler than their tdma/cdma counterparts

i believer ATT calls their GSM service M-mode or m-life. . .it sucks here in FL cause it's pretty much only in orlando and surrounding areas. . if you go out of that service area you are SOL with trying to use your phone

I wouldn't get the v60 if I were you.....it's a pretty outdated phone for these days. I just upgraded to the new Sony/Ericsson T616 and it rocks......big color screen, small, looks cool as hell, lots of features, and even a little built in camera. I've had it for a few months now and it's by far the coolest phone I've ever used and I've had about 10 of them. Priced pretty reasonably too.

i've had a v60t and now have a v60i, and they're ok, but the antenna sucks if you like to keep your phone in your pocket. i broke the one off 2 v60t's because it gets thinner right near the bottom and the plastic sucks there. the v60i i have now has a different designed antenna, so if you want a v60 get the i. i did have to get the i fixed shortly after getting it though because there is a weak solder point in the antenna and it broke from being in my pocket again. they said this was a common problem, as was antenna's breaking off v60t's. i never drop my phone or anything, just the stresses from being in my pocket all the time make the antennas not like to stay on. i know if this breaks i'm not getting another v60, but reception and all that is good as long as the antenna stays on. if you keep it on the clip you won't have these problems

it's not a full orchestra like some of the new ones, but it isn't terrible. the editor used to type in ringtones lets different pitches/lengths and all that, and i have the simpsons theme, knight rider, nothin but a g thang, ice ice baby, indiana jones, among others, and you can tell what they are easily
only like 30 minutes left on the item...i might get it for like 50 bucks or soill be able to keep my same number and not have to pay any other fees or anything right? just call and say transfer to this unique id cell phone? i have two phones on my current plan, one for me one for my wife. so hopefully there are no other fees involved.
