Turbo Whistle

Hello all i have been gone for awhile but im back with a question. After doing some google searching and MSprotege searching i still have no exact answer. About 6 months ago i went catless and i could hear a slight whine from my turbo which i just ignored and assumed was normal. Now about a month ago i hear it all the time i wont be anywhere near boost just cruising and it sounds like i have a supercharger. She still gets up and goes holds 7-8psi (atp WGA is only about 3 months old). Im going to see if there is an exhuast leak because when i have my ac vents open takin in air from the outside i can smell my car exhuast like smell(doesnt seem normal). Just wanted to get everyones opinion still learning about turbos and what not. thank you for the help.

n/m found my problem huge hole in my intake, can this thread be erased?

I don't think so, but was it by chance your rubber intake boot rotting out? This seems to be a huge problem with our cars later in their lives.

part of my aem intake was rubbing up against this metal notch in my engine bay and eventually rubbed a hole in part of the intake. Just had to use some good ole alabama steel to fix it prolly going to get a new intake.
