Transmission worries. Help

Mazda 3 hatchback 2007
Ok, so I have my 2007 mazda 3 (automatic) and I love my car, even though it has given me various problems.

So, the problem now (which my 3 is being fixed right now as I write this) is that it gave me the coda p0841 (which would be the pressure sensor/ switch A)
and a problem with the circuit range/ performance.

My car gave the symptoms of lowering rpms almost to 500. And it tends to do that usually when I start the car and after I've driven it for about 30 mins. (I think it may be a spark plug, correct me if I'm wrong) or it may be something else.

Also, the car gives me sort of a "punch" from 3gear to 4th gear (which is my main problem) from time to time. AND when I've driven the car for about an hour or so, and I find a speed bump and slow down, it kind of gives me a "punch" from 1st to 2nd. But only does that (usually) on the first speed bump.

Any thoughts on this problem?

Check the transmission fluid, exactly as described in the owner's manual. Typically, the fluid level is checked while the engine is up to temp and idling. If your fluid level is low, weird shifting behavior is normally the result. Overfilling can cause issues, also.

Is your mechanic replacing the pressure sensor switch?

Yes he did, I just got back. Should I be worried if he switched it?
