tmic noise???

i wanna upgrade to a tmic and was wondering if they added any sort of noise? like an intake noise? my buddy had one on his wrx and it sounded so nice! his made like a screamin noise for a sec!

I did this to my Supra back in the dark ages before affordable camcorders & Youtube.

But to answer the OP's question, an intercooler shouldn't really change the sound of the car too much unless it leaks or something. Or maybe if the internal plumbing of the core causes some whistling, etc. Ideally, it should be silent. You'll get all of your typical turbo noises from an open air filter element & a BPV/BOV.

I had some extra metal-on-metal vibes when I had my SU TMIC still on. It was from the shroud touching the intercooler.
