Tackling the wind noise, yeah 17 years later! The more I work on infiltration from floor and doors the louder the wind noise gets! Okay, it just seems like it.
I've seen a couple approaches online - sellers saying to use window deflectors, a YouTube DIYer adding extra weather stripping for Mazda 3 doors
and even testing with painters tape to find the culprits. I've read roof racks are regular problem for noise, and mine are no different but I only noticed very little increase in noise adding them and no benefit to adding their deflector.
What are the worst offenders - hood, wing mirrors, door gaps? What've anyone else done, or found helps with this?
