Whoops didnt know it wasnt 3in, nevermind, 2.5 inch sucks. Anyone running a turbo car will tell you the same thing, the bigger the DP the better the power. I didnt say exhaust however, I meant DP, as in S pipe, as in whatever you people call it now.

2.5" doesn't suck. 3" will not fit coming off the turbo no matter what you do unless you move the turbo itself somewhere else.

Isnt Ions S-pipe 3in.? I would be all over the 3in downpipe can there be a group buy for both? Also will this replace the cats as well?

It starts out as two smaller pipes merging into a 3" collector lower below the engine block. I guess that does make it a 3" overall though.

Good question i forgot to ask about this i hope that it will.......

Death to the cats(gun)

hey dsmconvert, i can donate my car for a day. it has the stock exhaust system, 9 psi, k&n filter and denso IK20s

I definately miss my catless downpipe, but I need a more detailed description(picture maybe??) of what I'm signing up for. The part I'm curious about mainly is the whole removable cat section. Living in CA, I definately want to have cats in, but I would also want to have a test pipe I could install for races.

I'd like a turbo back that runs straight all the way back, under the axel etc, then turns the muffler jdm style out the side. So there is only one bend at the very end.

you guys keep in mind that this is just a downpipe, not a full exhaust. so when they say turboback, they mean turboback until the end of the 2nd cat

Hell Yea that would be bad ass!!!!! Have them make that also I would be ALL OVER IT!! Price would not matter either lol.

guys focus, this is the DP, NOT the whole exhaust. I talked to culvar again and we can do 2.5 or 3 doesnt matter all the same group buy. For those of you asking about cats, READ the description. the DP will be designed so that it can have a bolt on cat or straight pipe...come on guys still need more people here...otherwise everyone is stuck either paying 300+ for an ion DP or waiting 6more months for a CS DP....

can you get just the s-pipe? or do you have to get the whole downpipe? i heard it's a pain to take the s-pipe off how would you change it if you had a whole pipe to deal with also? and is it going to seperate the wastegate from the the exhaust turbo outlet because that would make it worth it if i had to buy the whole pipe. i'm also wondering because i already have a apex dp. thank's for helping us out with this.

so wait a sec, im a bit confused here.

The stock setup is like follows?

S-pipe---mid-pipe with 2 cats---catback right?

So this unit will replace the s-pipe and midpipe and bolt to the stock catback?

Thnx for answering the dumb qs

i think so. dp with no cats on the midpipe. is ion's ss too? their dp on their tb seems thick! i think hi-boost is using cast iron?

Everyone is giving they're opinion on what they want. Can someone clearly state what is offered and at what price.

Right now looks like a standard D/P, with the option of a highflow cat. Lets make a list of people who are involved, and prices.
