Tire Size Inquiry

Sure, those tires will fit the rims. But they are kinda small. Your speedometer will be reading about 3 mph fast at 60 mph. It might look a little funny too.

let's ***** out this pic of my car once more. 205/50-16 on stockies. sometimes i wonder why i traded it in.

or you can go 205/45/16 and buy my stock rims with almost new toyo proxes fz4's ;)

Sorry to Threadjack... but how off is my speedometer if I'm running 205/40/17?? That's probably something I should know, haha...

Actually, it helps correct the liberal speedometer reading. So you'll be more accurate with 205/50s than the stockers.

Very true! I've been running 205/50/16's for the last 2 yrs & I've checked the speedo against a local radar warning (speed limit for this corner is 20mph--your speed is....) & found the indicated speed to be spot on with the radar.....
And now its time for a new set, I've worn these out!(burnout)

Another vote for 205/50's....much more to choose from in addition to reasons already stated.
