On stock rims, is this kosher?

Sure, those tires will fit the rims. But they are kinda small. Your speedometer will be reading about 3 mph fast at 60 mph. It might look a little funny too.

go with a 205/50. i did it on my p5 and it gave it a beefier look without looking like stupid.

I can vouch for the 205/50-16 looks good, and only throws the speedo off by 1%.

Actually, it helps correct the liberal speedometer reading. So you'll be more accurate with 205/50s than the stockers.

Very true! I've been running 205/50/16's for the last 2 yrs & I've checked the speedo against a local radar warning (speed limit for this corner is 20mph--your speed is....) & found the indicated speed to be spot on with the radar.....
And now its time for a new set, I've worn these out!(burnout)

Another vote for 205/50's....much more to choose from in addition to reasons already stated.
