Ok here's a couple questions for you: I have the OBX header, SLS catless midpipe and Racing Beat catback and I have two problems (or rather, two complaints).
First, the exhaust drone is too loud for my tastes when cruising on the highway at 70 mph or more. I read in another thread that adding a cat back into the midpipe could help quiet the exhaust down a little bit. Can anyone confirm anything about that? (I have already dynamatted the hell out of my trunk to try to reduce exhaust noise.)
And secondly, my engine does not seem to run as smooth when I'm just barely on the throttle at low speed or when getting back on the throttle after shifting. It bucks as if the clutch was let out with the rpms too low. Could this be from too little backpressure from the larger diameter piping? The stock piping is 2.25 right? My midpipe is 2.5 and the catback is 2.375. Could this also be fixed by adding a cat back into the midpipe if more backpressure is what I need?
I appreciate any comments/suggestions!
