hey i hope anyone could help me, im looking for a muffler not too loud, i had a toyota corolla with a muffler that used to make a little noise only at high RPMs does anyone knows what is the name of that types of mufflers ???? any help will be appreciated thanks

sounds like you're looking for a stock muffler

get either a factory muffler from a bigger car (say you have a protege then get a muffler from a higher flowing car such as a mazdaspeed 6). its high flow (compared to stock) and still has a nice tone. all you have to do is custom piping from the cat back.

OR

you buy a WS1/WS2 or similar exhaust

i cnat decide if i love or hate my muffler...
it is QUITE at idle.....
but after about 4k .. it is loud as hell..
however... the part i dont like is i cant hear the turbo .... that was the whole point of three inch.... GRR

Do you have a CAI/SRI intake? That would help you hear the turbo I think.

Id say 5 or so inches for it to sit flush with the rear bumper. I just put one on my car and it looks quite odd. Almost the entire oval chrome tip sticks out of the back.

Ill take a pic tomorrow and try to throw a sound clip up too.

first vid of my car unless you are referring to the MS racing beat axle back. if you go to protegegarage or any other site, my exhaust's name is mazdaspeed axleback. if thats the one you are looking at then yea, look at the first vid
