I wanted to find out how one measures the rear sway bar. That is diameter or circumfrance? I recently had my mechanic put on a dealer issued stock sway bar, and it seems small. My handling going into turns seems to have diminished. I am not sure if the recent adjustments on my alignment has changed the handling, if it is the sway bar from the earlier models, or if I am just use to the handling of the bigger sway bar? Thanks.

If you went from an aftermarket sway bar to stock then you probably will notice diminished handling. Why did you do that?

Progress bar broke my endlinks. Awr endlinks broke tabs. Bought shocks. Brackets broke. Bought awr 19mm bar. Awr bar split in half :( ? !

LOL, the thought actually crossed my mind today. These coastal backroads in Santa Cruz seriously need repaving!

What in the F are you doing to your swaybars!? This is the only time I'll probably ever say this, but you're probably better off with your stock bar...

EDIT: The bar size is the diameter.

Thanks aMaff! I take it that I am the only one having all these problems. Yeah, the only thing I can think of is that I am driving too fast over bumbs. Very FRUSTRATING!!!!!!!

I wouldn't say you're the only one having problems, but I know folks who race their car on high grip race tires that have had less issues with the rear sway than you have...
