common sense says yes, the law says pedestrians have the right of way, period. and in texas crossing guards are not considered pedestrians.

if it common sense, everyone would have it (or at least most ppl)

Wow, some of you are KIDS and have no idea about law enforcement. Cops have a very difficult job, and pleasing everyone is not a part of it. Saying cops are after revenue is just stupid. They don't get a commission.

Yes, some cops are jackasses, so are some people on this board, so are people in every segment of the population.

WHY YOU MAY BE PULLED OVER FOR "NOTHING"

Many cops pull people over for minor things because it leads to the discovery of major crimes.

Stolen vehicle clues - non working lights, expired plates, broken lights, windows, locks, driving under / over speed limit, etc.

Drunk Driver clues - incorrect signals, incorrect lane changes, driving under the speed limit, swerving, rolling through stop signs, stopping at yield signs, driving down one way streets

That is just a few things. It is how it works. I am sorry if you get pulled over for something minor. Just deal with it if you didn't get a ticket. If you do get a ticket and believe the cop was in bad judgement, fight it.

Yes, I know all of this. But doesn't mean I have to like getting pulled over. What pisses me of is that all the ppl who probably DO have drugs in the car, or anything else illegal for that matter, are EASILY spotted. Around here, those types of criminals make no effort at all to hide what they do. And not once have I ever seen a banger driving a fickin' bug. Around here, they drive beat up oldsmobiles and cadillacs, and beater Honda civics and accords. ALL of them. And you are correct, they don't get a commission form revenue, I never said they did. Nor do they have qoutas, just to clear that up just in case. They are simply doing as instructed. If they're told to step up traffic enforcement in a certain area, they will. Simple as that. But it still does not change the fact that it's easy money for the county, and the counties know it. That's all I'm tryin to say.

P.S. You gotta live how ppl "debate". They start off by insulting you(yeah, that'll get your point across), then they ASSUME you know nothing about the subject manner. LOL

nah, I think ill hold onto it for karma's sake... He went to school with me, and used to be a total douche to everyone. It will be sweet redemption when he asks for my license and reg. and gets a handful of copied pics of him puffing on a bong. (nuts)

Found not guilty on both tickets, cops was stuttering and s*** when he was giving his story
