Just be glad you're not in Los Gatos, CA, driving a beat up looking car. lol When I was driving my '69 bug to work in LG, I got tired of those revenue monkeys REAL quick. I got pulled over 4 times in 8 months. I'll admit, the first time I deserved it. No ticket, but I still deserved getting pulled over(let's just say "really stupid last second lane change" lol). And, the one time I got pulled over for speeding, I was doing 5mph UNDER the speed limit. I was going around a semi-sharp bend, and was accelerating. In the middle of the bend, I see a cop going the other direction, at the same point. Now, mind you my bug was sitting 1 inch too high in the rear, due to the springs being incorrectly indexed, which means even more body roll than normal. So, if you have extremely poor speed perception, it *might* look like I was going quickly around that bend. Anyways, I continue down the long straight that proceeds after the bend, at 35mph. When I was going around the bend, I was at 30mph. Near the end of the straight, about 1min later, he comes flyin up to me, and pulls me over. Now, it's 10pm, i just got off work, and my passenger side window crank broke that day. So, I'm not in a good mood. naturally, he walks up to my passenger side window. So, I struggle to roll the window down, and promptly ask the cop "What'd you pull me over for?" Cop : "What?" Me : "I said, what did you pull me over for?" Cop : "Well, I pulled you over because it looked like you were going kinda fast back there, and it took me a while to catch up to you". Those were his exact words. Lets see : Took you a while to catch up to me? No kidding! Hmmm, straight line at 35 mph, and it took him a full minute to turn around. Yeah, of course I'm going to be a ways away. Me : "Well, my speedometer read precisely 30mph around that bend, then after that, it read precisely 35mph." Cop :"Well, that plus your lisence plate light isn't working." Me : "Well, I don't know what to say, I was going the speed limit." Cop : "Well, I'll let you go now, so if you were going fast, just take it easy next time. " So I told him okay then, and that I'd get that light fixed. lol Oh no!!! My lisence plate light isn't working!! Of all the heinous crimes! It took me forever to get that damn window back up too. lol And I can't even begin to tell you how many times they stared at me and followed me in that car. The only cars I see pulled over in LG are beat up looking cars. In LG and San Jose, if you've got a nice looking car, or tuner looking car, you're fine. But if your car looks like a beater, watch out! Especially in LG. Oh, and each time I got pulled over, guess what? No ticket. They just wanted to bother me about nothing, and get a good look at me and the inside of the car. Now, don't get me wrong. I don't hate cops. I just hate their BS methods, and the fact that around Los Gatos, about all they do is traffic enforcement. Even worse, the flatlanders around here love it. These ppl don't care about gangs, rapists, carjackers, or any other real criminals. All they care about are us evil speeders. Why? Because they have no lives. All they can do is sit around and worry about what everyone else is doing, and how they can control them. Well, that ends my rant. lol

Just think, you pay taxes to the county, so that they can pay revenue monkeys to pull you over and give you tickets, which in turn goes right back to the county. Nice way for the scum to line their pockets, isn't it!
