I believe those would be a headlight washer (similair to what you seeover here on Audi's and volvos) and a "foglight" I dont know what else to call it. VW GTi's have them, and basically they illuminate the reflective area around the high beam bulb to give you the illusion of having lights on, but they're not really that effective at actually lighting stuff up. I might be wrong, but it looks just like the ones on VW's, so I'm assuming it the same thing.

i kinda thought the black chunky thing was a washer, but what does it do just squirt onto the headlights and no wipage?

The "huge" black thing is the headlight washer nozzle..... comes as a standard for the european model... but i'm thinking of "shaving" them..... don't quite suit the car....

And the bulb seen over the high beam reflector is a thing we call "park light"... just like "anarchistchiken" said.... just to make it seem, like the lights are on.....

Yeah, just a hig pressure jet of water Not sure what's it's supposed to get off just with water. Maybe dust, snow, mud. Who knows.

its wiered tho, every car i see with that washer, has like a small wiper attached to the light.

actually there are no wipers on cars that have plastic "glass" headlights, cleaning is done by the pressure from the nozzle

Can you please post the specs of the projector itself and where you purchased from. The car looks absolutely stunning.

As I said the projectors came from Audi S4..... have a friend working in local Audi dealer..... he got me headlights from a crashed car ( all the fixing tabs were broken.... but all that I needed was in mint condition!)

I guess U could find similar products from eBay?!?

Here's some pictures from the reflector.... with the projector fitted into it....

I actually have one set of those extra.. (wanted try to make double projector... but not enough room for audi projectors...... I will get my hands on the RX8 lenses next week.... they should be shorter and more compact.... maybe they will fit)

Since a lot of you have asked about the bi-xenons and how it's done (all the connections and so on) I'll try to explain it.... Sorry for any possible mistakes in my english... (it's not so good, specially written language...)

as mentioned before I used Audi S4 Bi-Xenon lenses (made by Hella, same ones that are in any Audi equipped with "XenonPlus"-official Audi name for them- headlights and Hella Xenon ballasts, and Osram D2S bulbs, if You are interested.. :)) and mazda 323 Sport headlight reflectors (different parts for dipped and high beam).

The Bi-Xenon lens uses one ballast and one Xenon bulb for both dipped and high beam, the change between the dipped and high beam is done by an 12 volt electric current (i got it from my halogen highbeam wires!!) which activates disactivates a shield inside the lens which then either blocks or realeses some of the light (dipped beam is partially blocked and high beam is fully open....) the change between the two beams is ultra fast (faster then the time needed to light up a traditional halogen bulb!).

I glued the xenon lenses straight to the reflector (of course i made sure that the beam was aimed to the same hight and location as with the original halogen bulb) as seen from the pictures from the previous post! The aiming part is essential in getting the best final result (for height adjustable reasons and cooperation with the halogen high beam).

So now i have xenon dipped beam and double high beams.... one xenon and one traditional halogen (the original is still there!).......

and the result...... as you can see from some of the previous pictures i had hella xenon spot lights for those dark winter nights... don't think i need them this year..... (although you never know..... always wondered what's it like driving in "daylight" 24 hours a day)

If you have any additional questions, or if i forgot something.... feel free to ask!
