2025 Mazda3 Sport GT MT constant CDA

Any new owners noticing during low speed commute. Stop signs, traffic lights in a couple mile run the CDA has gone from 4-2-0 active cylinders like 6+ times?

Gotta be some insane wear, lack of stable compression and other negative factors going on

I was assured at the dealership this feature only engages on highway at stable low rpm

It's not dependent on speed, but load. It will engage at any constant speed. I saw it all the time in my neighborhood.

Noticed any moment I had zero throttle it showed zero cylinder. Presume this is not triggering the solinoid/cylinder collapse and just the injectors or something?

I believe the fuel injectors shut off with no throttle and you just engine brake, which is what slows the car down.
