So I tried something different...

I bought some 1/4" red pin stripe with the intention of adding a subtle touch to the grille like an STi mod I saw, but after finishing it, I didn't like it. So, I had a huge roll left and wanted to see if I could use it elsewhere. So I tried what you see above and thought it looked kinda cool.

one guy put that red pinstriing around the front grill opening to mimic the vw gti red that their grill has... i think that would look good, save the extra red you have and throw some on the front grill opening (the big one not the one with the emblem)

If I was going to stripe something I would run a red stripe along the bottom of the side windows, curving with the window line all the way to the rear. Visually it would lengthen the car and add some color.

Don't think I'll be getting aftermarket wheels anytime soon, but hopefully some dark tint will set it off.

Well, I had a bunch of red pin stripe left over after trying something out I didn't like. So, figured I may as well see if there was anywhere else I could use it. I looked at the side profile, noticed some of the red cues in the interior, and figured it might look decent. And if I don't end up liking it, it's as easy as peeling it off.
