so i installed a bomz intake about 6 months ago or so and what i didnt realize was that the fitment wasnt as good as i thought it would be.
Well after 6 months of the engine moving slightly back when i shift into drive, a hole developed from it hitting one of the stationary objects in the engine (i have no idea what the part is. My uncle and i spent 4 hours patching the hole up with this stuff i now call miracle tape, and a piece of plumbing rubber that is strapped there to cushion any further contact.
In all, we had to cut the pipe about a quarter of an inch and had to do some pulling and tugging to get everything to fit on top of doing a bunch of other s***. Now, I am stuck with a patched up pipe. Here are the pictures so you can see for yourself. Sorry the second pic is blurry i was riding in a car to Lowe's.
