Hey,

I was wondering if anyone had a picture of the SMIC w/ hardpipes installed in the car? If so do you think you could post a picture, I would like to see what it looks like.

Are you looking for a picture of the stock SMIC with hardpipes? Here is CustomMSP's upgraded SMIC with turbohoses hardpipes. Does that help or do you want a different angle?

I was just looking for a basic set up picture, i'm debating about going SMIC or FMIC. I already have a AEM CAI, and i can see with the SMIC i wont have to eliminate it which would be nice. Plus I'm not looking for 300hp so i think the SMIC mite be a better choice and heard it gets alot less lag then the FMIC?

I'm probably going to go with the Weapon R hardpipe kit from protege garage along with there SMIC.

Any suggestions?

300 hp, your better off with a FMIC as an aftermarket SMIC will hold 10-12 psi alright..

but 300 hp is jkinda big.. i hope you plan to forge the engine as you will never make it on the stock internals..

"Plus I'm not looking for 300hp"

With that, the SMIC sounds right. I dont want to have to do any internal work on top of everything else. I was planing on only pulling 10PSI neways.

sorry dude, i mis read ya :)

i bought a custom msp SMIC and find it very satifiying.. it's well enough to go around 10 psi plus you dont have lag.

heres a pic of mine beside the stocker..

the engine breaths alot easier with this.. of course dont expect neck snapping performance for this upgrade alone.. but it will "unlock" possibilities to more power.. it's the minimum need you will have to do..

oh and it bolts right in..

It does tend to get warmer here, and I thought you had to get rid of your CAI if you put in a FMIC. Interesting......

What about internal work to the motor if i switch out for an FMIC?
