S-Pipe Pictures

so this 'downpipe' will NOT work with my Apex 'j-pipe' because the j-pipe has that bend at the end?

on the other hand, this 'downpipe' would work with the corksport power series exhaust becaust it is just a straight pipe?

I am going to be completely honest. I dont know. We built a complete turbo back exhaust so there would not be any guess work, however when other manufacturers parts come in I cant in good moral make a promise to you.

After looking at the pic you would have to cut the J pipe to make it fit.
that's the clarification i was looking for.

not what i wanted to hear, but good to have a conclusion nonetheless.

thanks.

thanks for answering the question, I am also glad to see that you are willing to get the random techs for those who choose it

I am starting to like you guys :D

Thats correct, the cat supplied is an OBD II compliant Carsound Cat. We use these cats on everything from Porsche to VW, they work great and dont break the bank. We can substitute a random tech cat in for an addition to the expense, please keep in mind random cats to not meet CARB standards.

So basically instead of me going out and buying an Apex DP and the GLH s-pipe(which sounds like it won't bolt up), I'd be better off buying the GLH S-pipe and getting a custom piece made to mate up to my catback section? I already invested a lot of money in an awsome catback, and will not replace it.

yes. you'll need a small section of straight piping welded up from the GLH downpipe to mate up with a catback exhaust.

I was a little thrown off by the diagram for a minute, but it makes more sense now. I guess this isn't really all that expensive now that I see it will include the J-pipe as well. Problem is though, if putting the S-pipe/J-pipe piece in takes a few hours(removal of radiator/exhaust manifold if i remeber correctly) then how would I go about getting an exhaust shop to make me that extra little section of pipe to connect to my catback?

I think it would make it a lot easier on people if GLH could offer options of either a straight pipe, or a catted section that would mate up to a stock catback section.
Hopefully I didn't repeat something that was already mentioned...
EDIT:Okay it was sort of answered...Maybe a little clarification could help though...

You all are crazy, just buy the WHOLE thing....This is ridiculously priced and includes every piece you need. It'd be interesting to see how it performs compared to iON's, which I just put a depos it on. This is better then the PERRIN exhaust pound for pound because it comes with a S pipe AND a cat...I really don't think you can beat this, of course I will be very happy with my iON when I get it though.

995 shipped..... good god damn that is a schweet price......

Well, I guess that answers the question of where my tax rebate money is going.... :)

id get it it looks nice, im jsut not sure if i want 2.5 or 3" im only goin for 300 crank power. I want it to sound nice and not drone.

will you guys be making delete pipes like your evo system? if so will that be included or will it be seperate.

Cat and resonator deletes will be available seperately. Our base system is designed to be street legal and quiet enough to comfortable for long commutes. Anyone who has run 3" no cats or resonators knows what Im talking about.

Our mufflers are built using patented non resonance technology. Ingrexco is the best person to respond on the sound.

Hey Phill,

Will there be an option to have the complete system, but without a muffler section for those who prefer certain mufflers?

P.S. Thanks for the help and intrest in our cars. Best news to hit our forums in months.
