theres a couple P5s with those on and they look good--

The RX-8 wheels are 18x8's with 50mm offset supposedly squeeze right in there!?

Tire Rack offers a rim I want that is 17x7.5(+45) for my P5 and recommends a tire size of 205/45/17. The 205/45/17 contradicts Rishie's fitment guide. Is anyone running the wheel size above with a 205/45/17 (or rather, a 215/40/17 tire?) I'd rather the 215 for fitment...

7.5" +48 or higher, the +45 still worries me with this width on a 205.

**EDIT** I think the difference may be that Rishie's guide is for lowered fitments and Tire Rack isn't.

heres my dilema, i want 18x7.5 +48 work emotion xt7, now the WORK USA distributor only has 18x7.5 +42 in stock. it'll take 8 weeks to ship over the +48... will i have problems with a +42. i would like to run 215 wide tires. thanks

If you're lowered the 42mm will rub.

Ya with the +42 it be close fit but you would need 205 tires and they would suck, get the +48 and 215 wide tires it will fit perfect.

aight so i've been lookin for tires. i'm gonna see if i can squeeze 225/35r18 in there just so i can buy the contisportcontact 3's. my coilovers are tiny so i should be fine. i hope.

picked up my work wheels, bought the baby blue lugnuts. lol. ordered the hub rings off a miata website, hopefully they will fit the wheels. gonna go out and hopefully find tires this weekend and mount them. just need to buy centercaps now

A buddy of mine has a question and I couldn't seem to answer it for him by reading this. Hes trying to get a set of rims for his Protege sedan and the website shows the rims as being +35 offset and 17x7.5

The car is lowered on Eibachs btw.

His "rim guy" told him they would fit with 205/40/17s... maybe the rim dude didn't check the specs?

Another question though... spacers decrease offset correct? So this cannot be made up for with a 5mm spacer or something?
