Okay so it's been two months now. I paid for some 4-2-1 headers from racing mazda...

Does anyone have good reviews about this company? The guys name is "Ric" and I've honestly given up on trying to get in contact with them. Terrible customer service.... They never answer the phone, literally never. And with email, you have to get lucky, because they never reply to them either.

Anyone ? I paid a lot of money for these headers

If these are being built as they are ordered and coming from accross an ocean then it may take longer still. I doubt they have a pile of them sitting waiting for an order to come in, platform is too old and orders for them are few and far between so they may have to blow the cobwebs off the jigs after they find them to even start on one. Doesn't explain the customer service you are experiencing tho. Good luck.

Yeah if I would atleast get some sort of feed back. But like I said , they never answer any phone calls or emails. Very disappointed in the service they provide .

Odd, I can't find the header listed on their site anymore....that is racingmazda.com Unless this a different site from the one I've seen in the past where the 4-2-1 header was offered. IIRC they are based out of Texas and do the work there so that should eliminate any extensive shipping time. GL Raul in getting in touch with them and a refund. In the meantime search for the mx6/626/probe header. Essentially this is what Racing Mazda sells but they have done the legwork of moving the EGR bung and supply a test pipe to mount up to the stock exhaust. I've seen the header go on ebay for under $100, then you'd just need an exhaust shop to do the other work.

Yeah I want my money back.

So the probe headers fit right on ? Il just need a exhaust shop to mount the ending so it connects to my stock piping and then how about the egr? What can I do about that

Make sure the egr bung on the one you buy is parallel with the header flange and ground once mounted. If it is angled any you may have to use a hot water heater flex pipe to get egr connected up.

Damn that sounds complicated , these are the ones I'm looking at

That one is angled and will require a flex line to connect egr. The bung on the 4 collector piece needs to be inline with the flange that bolts up to head.

This is 4-1 but see how the egr bung comes off straight and level with ground? That's what you'll need if you aren't going to alter egr connection.

The one you posted has the bung pointing down at angle.

I find a thread that the guy put a breather filter on the egr and just closed off the egr connection on the header. Does this alter anything ?

I really like the 4-2-1 , will a high flow cat fit right in to my piping and the header piping

Apart from the egr connect , will the o2 sensor fit just right ? If not can I use a spark plug non fouler ? How about the second o2 sensor?

And my last question is the connection of the headers to the rest of my exhaust piping, I was thinking of a high flow cat...

Thanks for all your responses , really helpful

Okay so I can use a non fouler on the second o2 ?

Breather filter on the egr ?

And how about the high flow cat connected to my piping and to the headers ?
