yea that was me, and i seen you on HWY 20, getting on 285. But i was in my moms PT cruiser. I havent drove it yeat, b/c i got to get a radiator, and or get mine to fit right, and i got to hack off my old exhaust..so i cna put the MX3 one on.

Why would you get a whole new motor for 30 more horse? The KLZE is vastly over rated IMHO. If you want the power, buy a new intake manifold and a j-spec computer, no need ot change out the whole eninge.

With a few mods, those motors can be pretty stout NA. Especially in a light ass car like that.

Holy shoe horn! That's kick ass! You've come a LONG way from your old Escort, hehe. Keep up the good work. I EXPECT you to join us at an auto-x! :D

EDIT: What are you doing with your old engine? I may need the short block. Heh, this may be the second engine I've bought from you.

Ive got a KLZE Intake manifold, and KLZE ECU layin on the ground in my room...:) ANd the KLZE is alot better than the KLDE. Ive driven both in a Mx3, and it isnt as overrated as u think. i didnt say i was gonna get one, but if i come across a good deal i might. The klze has more agressive cams - higher compression - bigger rectangular intake manifold - better flowing heads. I see your point tho, i wouldnt dare go out and spend 1000$ on a new motor for 40hp.

But the exhaust is on..and it started up nice the first time...soon as i get a radiator and bleed the clutch im all ready.

thats bad ass dude, as soon as you get it runnin you should come up to the thursday night meet at north point mall

NAw its actually fits perfectly, and goes in soo easily. The K series v6's all mount the same. And the mx3 uses the same unibody as the protege but the protege is lighter..:). And the Mx3 comes with a 1.8ltr V6 (K8). And the probe/millenia/626/Mx6 all use a K series V6 but a bigger version 2.5 KLDE, and there is are 2 other versions of the motor KFZE (2.0 v6) and KLZE (2.5) but those are in Europe, and Japan. IM using a KLDE out of a probe GT with V6 mX3 (axles/tranny/flywheel/crossmember/harness/linkage) with a 626 ECU. But its a pretty easy swap, it can be done in 1 day.

Some pics of the mx3 exhaust. its about a foot short, but it will do until i can get it all redone. The custom y-pipe is pictured also..got a quick rev video, posted aswell..
