So, this morning I replaced the Megan resonator that comes on their cat back system. I had the shop put a 3.5" diameter glass packed resonator that was about 6" longer in it's place. I only sacraficed about 1/4" clearance. It almost completely eliminated the interior drone and noise. Did not sacrafice performance at all. $110 parts and labor. Totally worth it!

Now my wife doesn't want to strangle me for "fixing up" the Mazda! LOL!

Post up a video! I need an exhaust system bad and the Racing Beat seems to be imposible to find used but I have the chance to get a Megan or Corksport

To be honest...check into the cork sport. I have to say I like the looks of the megan and after replacing their resonator with a real resonator it sounds pretty dope. Overall I spent way too much time and extra cash with fitment. At this point, I could have purchased a new RB set up...

On another note...Just finished the rear bumper and side skirts in a black satin bumper paint. Front will take a bit longer than these, so I didn't have time today...

Did the front bumper. Gonna need to redo it professionally eventually because of all the damn Colorado gravel. Anyway, I sanded the best I could, but if you look close, you can still see some of the pock marks. Looks much better than it did before though, so this will do for the next year or so.

Why not just take the bumper off? No need to tape anything plus it would have been easier to prep and spray.

Yeah, I had to take the bumper off when I did the headlights, and that is easy for sure. Very easy to take off, but I had to sand the s*** out of the bumper. I had a bunch of little pock marks on the front bumper thanks to all of the gravel Denver uses for snow removal. I left it on for sanding ease, and since I had to tape the edges to sand, I just left it on and finished taping. It wasn't bad, and it turned out pretty smooth. Not gonna win any shows, but definitely better than it was, and I'm happy with the result.

Anyone have any ideas on good after market grill sets? Now that the bumper is painted the grills look like s***! LOL!

You can get the lower OEM grill for about $35 from the dealer, and the upper you can get AutoEXE or DGM, both of which are pricey.
