Problem with 09 ms3

I was idling my car last night when I smelt something burning. And white looking smoke coming out of my exhaust. When I pressed on the gas more came out. When i left the parkinglot I was in and stopped down the road there was no more smoke and no burning smell. Now I only have had the car idling at night when it's cold, for that amount of time (10+ mins) I don't know if the cold has anything to do with it. My car only has a turboxs bov, Cobb Sri, and a 3" exhuast from the dp back. Iv only noticed it twice in this past week. The car seems to run normal. What could be causing this?

Would that be covered by Mazda? And is it a big problem?

Better yet, what can I do? 1 since my car is modded won't Mazda void my warrentee(sp)? And even if I put my car back to stock and they do fix it, won't it happen again if I put everything back on?what are you guys doing with modded cars to solve this issue?

wierd...Im pretty sure mazda fixed the pcv valve issue for the 09 year. I have had ZERO issues with any smoke whatsoever on my car and have never heard of any smoking issues with the 09's...also usually the "smoking turbo" is from downpipe mods in older ms3's which bcause of more exhaust flow,oil gets pulled from the crankcase and usually a catch can is the answer..but really dont know whats going on with your car. goodluck.

2009, 5k miles, I've had the issue for at least the last 1k... and no engine mods. So yeah, it's still around.

obviously not as much as the 07 and 08's..but yeah..having just 1 issue is 1 to many.

i jus pickedup a 09mazdaspeed 3 with 1000 miles and from what i heard the turbo seals is a recall on that car so if you go to the dealer they will replace ur turbo and ur seals but if u have downpipe they mite not warranty it

That was only on the '07s. The '08, '08.5 and '09s didnt have the smoking turbo and blown seals issue. I guess its possible it could be the issue but its not a TSB like the 07 was.
