plug under drivers seat

theres a yellow and white plug under the drivers seat..where does it plug into? Also, there is a black plug...what is this for?

It's for the air bag and belt self test I believe. If you unplug it, your car won't beep anymore when you first start it without your seat belt on. But I also don't know if the air bags will work properly either. Just leave it plugged in..
 
MP3s never came with side airbags... if you or someone swapped seats in before, you may have gotten seats WITH side airbags... in that case you'll have that yellow plug
 
those plugs have been hanging under my seat ever since I bought it. Just now asking what they are for. I see where the black plug goes. Guess the previous owner swapped front seats. Which protege came with side airbags?
 
oh cool. they look like the ES/p5 seats. i always found those to be more comfy to my lower back
 
Other Protegs came with side airbags?? Didn't know that.

Yea the side airbag option was packaged with ABS in the US as far as I know. My P5 has side airbags but no leather.

MP3s never got the ABS and side airbag option, or the sunroof option. Or leather for that matter I guess..

yeah i believe they're the same. do u have mismatch seats right now?
