Omg... help

took mt MSP to the dealer first thing tuesday. According to my the service manager, this is a common problem. Seems it is a defect in the internal diafram in the mechanical wategate. He knew exactly what I was talking about, and immeadatly said its your wastegate I'll order you a new one. Obviously its not the firsty time he has seen the problem. They are replaceing my oil feed lines as well. If that does not fix the leaking oil they are going to swap turbos. Glad they are taking care of it, but I wish they would just go ahead and put the new turbo in instead of going with the "one part at a time and see if that works" fix.

msp's are actually very reliable if you don't do anything stupid to them, i'd rather have a msp then a ms3, i trust the old FS engine more (and i work on these things for a living)

First of all I don't think 15 psi is stock there is something wrong there, whether it's intentional or not is something else. Second, are the FS motors really better than the DISI or whatever it's called?

NO.Period.

FS < DISI

The FS needs to be built before it can be boosted past 7 Psi.

The DISI, comes Boosted way past 7 Psi..
<disi></disi>

anyways im taking my turbo off today and checking the internals... if they can be saved i will and if not ill put it back on and get a stock
