Omg... help

Take of the turbo it's worth it to remove and repair it if you can. I've got it down to about to 45 min now, most important is to remove the intercooler/radiator first before anything it will come out as one piece.

this freaking sucks so what could be messed up in there is there any chance of saving the turbo?

I replaced the internals of my turbo for $550.00 Canadian.

My MSP hit Fuel Cut today. I have a CAI and stock boost. at 4k rpm its like I hit a brick wall. It only does it under High Boost. If i creep it up to 4k it doesn't cut. It seems to be related to the outside temp. usually below 40 degrees outside. Did everyone who changed their wast gate actuator fix the problem. I still have 30k on my 100k warranty. Is this something the stealership will fix?

Looks like there is oil leaking from the feed tube on the top of the turbo. I hear this is a common problem. Does the turbo need to be replaced or can that be fixed?

Are you tellin me its junk and always needs a mechanic?
Is the guy with the boost problem stock?

if you plan on cranking up the boost over 10 psi w/ out a lot of supporting mods on the stock internals then its best that you are a mechanic or know a good one :)

No the car is not "junk" it's just poor design or thinking by the engineers. The guy that is hitting fuel cut probably has a leak in the charge pipe or is running higher boost that he realizes, what does your boost gauge say. I have hit fuel cut but it was real cold at night and I have always been around 9psi and as it gets colder it goes higher for some odd reason. Being a mechanic does help as the car is not put together all to well (turbo kit) and needs help often.

I guess i took Alejo_NIN comment wrong. I understand that there are qwerks with the car, and it might need some attention. I need to watch what Mods i do to the car, im not very car literate, and dont have alot money ( have a family to support) so i seem to be at a Disadvantage. Apparently its a good idea to ask on here before messin with it.

LOL 40, so 8X what we run stock. I have mine at about 1.5X as much as stock and am very happy with that. We have to be careful what we say, some people might take it literaly.

my car is stock and the boost holds at 15 psi its not a spike. i hit fuel cut like a mutha fuka on a day thats around 40 deg and i get it around 4.5 rpms even when im not getting on it... ive got a guy thats really good with cars.
