Oil & Radiator Caps

Anyone know who make a good looking Oil or Radiator Cap for the P5??? The MazdaSpeed one is way too expensive!!!

Make your life easy .. go down to PepGirls and get an APC Honda oil cap ... or any honda oil cap, and a radiator cap cover to match.

Skunk2 makes a nice Oil Cap and Radiator Caps, not covers. A honda radiator cap will fit to. Its a standard pressure cap for an import, the pressure should be the same if not a LB. or 2 higher, which won't hurt nothing . You can find them on NOPI's E-Cat under any Honda Civic. Look around in the sub categories you'll find it. INJEN makes a nice oil cap, also on NOPI. Jackson Racing, a couple of Mazda Miata sites. Just search the web, there everwhere.

I like the InJen Oil cap personally, but I can't seems to find justification for $45.00!!!! An Oil cap????

BTW, Protege5Gurly, which oil and radiator caps are yours? Sorry, I can't seem to figure it out from your pic.

Both are currently from APC ... for approx $15 each, you cant beat em. APC does in fact make SOME quality products

I just emailed a contact of mine at Injen to ask about setting up a group buy on the caps. Hopefully I get a positive response but don't hold me to it.

I got lucky with mine, he gave a red one to match the CAI but I couldn't imagine paying $39-$42 for one.

I'll keep you all posted if I can work this out.

Unfort however I only have MP3 ones left, I made 90 of them, and they are all gone. I will be doing another run of them, due to the amount of emails I've been getting for them.

Freekwonder: I have done the first sides of the tie down, and hopefully will do the bottom this week, then I gotta send them for anodizing. I'll keep you updated.

sweet ive been looking forward to it, ever since i saw the first pics. let me know when they are done, i want to be on the list for a blue one. like i said i still love my oil cap. when ever i pop my hood it gets looks.

I can vouch for gujustud's products. I bought the oil cap and battery tie down and was very please when I received them.

Any new products in the works? Maybe a rad cap cover or a fuse cover??

only one complaint about mine gujustud, when the cap is on tight, the MP5 engraved on the cap is upside-down

Oil cap

Happy to see this thread. I've been hearing about these oil caps for a while. Namely from DaveB, who makes the gauge bezels. I am very interested in a blue Pro5 oil cap. I haven't seen the battery tie downs but I'm assuming I want those to!

I have my paypal all set and just waiting for a price

Yeah unfortuently, there was nothing I could do about this. When the valve covers are made at the Mazda Factories, when they put the thread on the valve covers the thread is started differently each time, so there is now way I could know how to line up the logo. If the thread was the same on all of them, I could of lined up the logo perfectly

i got a silver "protege" oilcap and it is great..you all have to see them in person, pics do em no justice

would you consider making battery tie-down with the "mazdaspeed" logo on it?? If you can do a custom for some more bucks lemme know =D
