oil change time?

i am at 6,200 miles going to change my oil. last time i changed it i used 5w30 cause my dad told me to since it was a new car. should i use the same oil this time???

look in your manual....look at the chart that describes the area you live in (normal tempatures that is) and use the recommended oil grade.

remember to change the filter EVERY time you change the oil....I also recommend you use the MAZDA filter...or a VERY high grade of one....if you do a seach on oil filters you will find a lot of threads discussing this....

and change your oil about every 3000 miles as well.
