Noob question..

I'm still new to my protege5.. and whenever I see pictures of my car... I see alot of them where their roof racks connect.. kinda like bike racks..

I just have the 2 strips that dont connect..

(its a 2002 mazda protege5 yellow)

What do I need to buy to connect them??


I really dont know how to explain it... mabye someone will catch on to what im talking about..

They have aftermarket bike racks. You'd have to put together the system yourself by going to www.yakima.com or www.thule.com and building your system based off the car make/model.

Mazda did not make any stock bike racks, only the stock racking system w/ the 2 cross bars.

I wasnt really looking for bike racks, i just liked the way the 2 cross bars looked...

On my roof.. i have caps where some would go... just dont know where to get the cross bars.. i have the racks tho they just dont connect by cross bars

Put up a thread in the WTB section. There are plenty of people that took theirs off and just have them lying around. You could probably find someone willing to give them to you for the price of shipping.
