Heres the deal from my end of all this: Shane (as always) you are certainly spot on again my brother. The Evo guys have a whole different personna with the idea of modding. My brother has an Evo8 pushing 450awhp, upgraded turbo, diff blah blah.... and I built it for him. He loves it, but got REALLY pissed off when I was blowing past him with my so called "piece of s***" Steed manifold. There is so much support for ANY of the Evo's is sickening. The fact that the Protege is unique, stylish and fun as hell to drive just makes it a win win. Try to find 2 the same, I bet you cant. Now an Evo on the other hand.... cookie cutter all day long with those. Anyone can mod it because of that.
Revmoto: not sure what exactly your intentions of being on this forum are at this point. All 16 of your posts have not been very supportive about what we do here. If you have actual proof of a manifold outperforming the Steed, lets see it. Or even show me a tubular set up with more power than mine with a full spool at less than 3500rpm. Think about the way those are designed and convince anyone theres no restriction with all those twists and bends. My Steed mani has direct air flow aimed right at the turbine making the GT3071R spool at the same RPM as the tiny VF-22 that used to be on there. But you wouldnt know that since you just drive an Evo.
Nocturnal, Shane, Sandspeed, 2.0t03speed... : You all have one hell of a ride anyone would be envious of. Its such an injustice to not be able to throw the non-believers into the passenger seat to shut them up. AND yet, each one of your cars are nothing alike. hmmmm....
