Im about to purchase KYB GR-2's and Eibach Sportlines in the next day or so. I was wondering what else should i look into replacing while im down there? All the suspension is stock from what the PO told me. Anything i should be looking for?

Thanks!

The endlinks give alot of people problems. If you dont have airtools you may have to cut them off. Better to have new ones ready if this happens. I also changed the bumpstops with my new struts. The old ones were vaporized.

Alright so far ive ordered the tokico blues, eibach sportlines, racingbeat bumpstops. i think i head that you can get the escape moog endlinks from autozone. is this true?

i switched from the KYB's i did some reasearch and alot of people were saying that they didnt do a very good job dealing with a drop.

ok. im assuming that switching them out is pretty straight forward then. does anyone know where a thread on diy suspension is at?

KYB are s*** if you are planning on lowering your car.

The rears blew 3 months after being in my car, both of them.

Lifetime waranty is a joke bc the cost of swapping the parts out (not something I was prepared to do in Novemeber and -5 degree weather) its just not worth it.

Good on you for going with tokico.

well i got a call from shox.com and they told me that the sportlines have been discontinued, so i went with the prokit instead. its not exactly what i was looking for, but im sure itll look fine.

Instead of starting a completely new thread on here and take up precious clicks, I am going to use this as a semi-build thread. This will be mostly appearance, audio and some miscellaneous mods.

Her first day home. This was about 11 months ago.

Saw HatchKitten plastidip her rear valance and had to do the same.

While I had the plastidip out, I sprayed the stubby..

Got a lil crazy with the plastidip and my mirrors weren't in the best shape anyways.

There was one night when we had some bad ice...and I caught some of it... :(
Turned her into Frankenstein until insurance could take a look at her.

One week later...

Now this brings me up to date. Hopefully in the next week I will have the all the suspension here and get started on that.

Questions and comments are always more than welcome, the more the merrier.

Looking forward to the pics and progress of the suspension bits, because the P5 I'm looking at seems to be in need of a complete suspension overhaul.

hopefully tomorrow ill have my suspension here. probably wont get started on it until the weekend tho. will update with pics.

Nice. I just went with the Stagg Struts and Tein S-Tech's. Should give a nice drop and good ride. I went ahead and replaced all the hardware with new parts except the bump stops. They were still in great condition.

I want to switch out my rear wiper to one like yours, I hate the metal one that came stock! Which one is yours exactly and was it a pretty simple swap orwas there any important changes to make it work?

my rear wiper is the mazda 6 wagon wiper. its pretty straight forward on putting it on, there is a DIY floating around here somewhere. ill find it and post it. the only thing is that in the DIY when he shows the plastic plate that goes on top of the wiper motor, it needs to be shaved down until the hump is completely gone.

you can get the wiper from onlinemazdaparts.com
