The pipes are in. We have to get the hardware kit together and then we will ship the first 10 out.

who'da thunk it :p... i will definitly be getting one of these, but now that the price has gone up i dont know WHEN i will be getting one :p... hope to hear some good reviews back from all that got in on it at the good price :)...

mine will be delivered today, although they will probably not leave it because i wont be home so ill have to pick it up later this week.

cant wait to see it

There was not a set of directions made for this piece I have been informed. I'm not sure that they will create a set.

I'm not really sure what the need is though... You remove the old pieces and replace the downpipe. You're just removing bolts, nuts and a couple lines. They are all pretty visible. I'm not sure what help a written set of directions would even bring. To remove the turbocharger your best option is probably to remove the entire manifold. I've read on here that people have replaced such things with the turbocharger on, but I'm not sure what they did differently. I personally have not removed the turbocharger myself. But removing the radiator may be required also.

but if they've supplied instructions for installing a exhaust then why not a downpipe. is what everyone wants to know

The exhaust system comes with hardware that needs an explanation and requires modification in a couple different areas. These things are a direct result of the CS product. Therefore they include that information. It's not a tech sheet on how to do the job, it just explains the changes the user needs to make in order for that product to be installed properly.

The downpipe does not require this additional attention.

not trying to complain but rather discuss the point....I would think that removing the turbo off the car and possibly the radiator would be considered more significant than most of the adjustments made while installing the exhaust...

It's not the smallest job to take everything off, but it's not hard. It would help to have instructions for a newbie.

It may be more involved work time so to speak... But what I was meaning is it's just factory pieces you are moving and putting back just like they came. Nothing is being altered...

Most bigger name-brand companies don't even supply any sort of directions with their product. Even complicated electronics pieces (unless you speak Japanese of course). Not to mention in most cases they will supply zero tech support on it. One should refrain from relying on instructions to do a modification to their car though. However, It's nice as a reference if there are certain things that are tricky in some cases. Like phenolic intake manifold spacers? That really helped with I installed them on a Mazda V-6. But I don't see it being much help in this case.

If you have any questions about removing these pieces I, CorkSport, or people on this board are able to help. It's all pretty straight forward stuff, just a little time consuming.

Also, does anyone have the diagram to the turbo system to these cars they could post? I use to have a paper copy, but I'm not sure what happened to it. That would help people to visualize things at a different angle before they did this install.

Anyone can PM me if they have problems. I will be doing it a second time to install my disco and DP soon. Just remember not to over-torque or strip bolts. Also, use the same technique you would on your wheels to unbolt and re-install your manifold. You want it even to prevent warping and leaks. Drain your oil and antifreeze before you do anything.

Well perhaps we should put some instructions with the all future downpipes that go out. My Apologies for anyone having problems, please Email or call Corksport and we will assist you any way possible.
