nah, you have to take the turbo off. im getting the exhaust at the same time and im gonna have a highflow cat put in it so thats all gonna take time for me to get done :(

I dont think it will be in by then anyways...they say 5/1 and are usually late rather than early :)

There is a thread that says you can take the dp off without removing the turbo. They say it takes like 40 mins. and 15 mins to put back on. and are you sure we have to wait til 5-1 or is that when the next batch are coming out. On the corksport website i believe it says that 5 are available.

i believe that means as of 5/1 there will be 5 available (well 10, 5 through HPF and 5 through corksport direct)

if we get them before then then thats fine with me :)

turbo magazine got 22 hp!!!! (as much as 40+ at certain points in the powerband) out of the ion turbo back. At our recent dyno session most people were getting around 15-20 hp over stock with INJEN cai and downpipe back exhausts...

2.Drumfreak (MSP) 166HP/163TQ Stock PSI (dp back/injen)
3.Boomergt (MSP) 214HP/213TQ @9 to 7 psi (MORE)
4.Laserblue (MSP) 146HP/146TQ (all stock non-flashed)
5.Mspeed (MSP) 203HP/195TQ @ 9psi (MORE)
6.Rawyzf (MSP) 166HP/166TQ Stock PSI (dp to stock axleback, SMIC,injen) compairing this chart to mine showed 30+ hp gains from 3500rpm-5000rpm
7.Tytanium (MSP) 167HP/172TQ (dp back/injen)

So I'd guess that getting the S pipe is going to have big gains for you. HAVE YOU SEEN THE STOCK S PIPE?? omfg its hideous!

Biggest problem, you need to remove the entire turbo in order to get these things on, which will add signifacantly to the cost if you can't do it at home. turbo magazine said 4 hours (if you don't break a bolt which they did, and that adds lots of time)
one other ehard part is gettign the damn oil line off the turbo.

any word on a release for the dp. just curious as I will need to schedule for the install.

I was told they're suppose to be shipping next week.... Mid May. Slight delay I guess.

I would suggest not scheduling an install until the product is in your hands.

Thanks I just need to move my schedule a bit. I will wait but it usually takes a week for me to get free time.

So I've got one of these coming.
AND an apex d/p. doh.

is there a pure midpipe offering that would mate with this nicely? or am I better off figuring out a way to mate these two?

To those who have ordered these, the final details are being finished up. I will let people know when they ship.

HorsepowerFreak, any chance of getting in on the $199 deal still? I have the money in hand and really want to get my exhaust together ASAP. I PM'ed you.

Just for the people that ordered them from you or does that include the people who ordered from Corksport?

Yeah I've been wondering myslf. Hello Ben you hear us. I'm about frustrated with all the lagin. Corksport finish up so we can get our parts.

im wondering too....

im sure its the same ole "patience wait for quality parts" etc etc "X is taking a little longer to complete than we anticipated" which is why i didnt bump myself....

its not like ben or CS are "bad" though I guess, I mean MAM was supposed to be out way before this one and theirs still havent shipped either, but in general the standard for quality of service in the auto parts world is staggering when compared to the standards of service most buyers of auto parts have to employ in their every day jobs...

so in short, im sure they are "still coming" and "should ship this week" and "thanks for your patience", i think thats just the way things go (spin)

It seems like there are people who don't understand the pipes I am selling are coming directly from CorkSport..... They are the manufacture of them.

I have inquired again today for a status.... There was a slight change in design to make them fit easier. They want to sell a quality product that goes on with as much ease as possible so fine tuning of the piece is required.

I don't want to keep giving dates that are not going to hold up, that's why I gave that vague comment of "the final details are being finished up...." last week. Honestly, I'd rather not give any sort of date until I have them in my hands and know 100% they are shipping.

I've got you guys taken care of though, you're in good hands. :P I apologize for the delay, I know you guys want to get these on!

I've been told by the owner of CorkSport these pipes are scheduled to be in hand on the 31st.

If I hear anything new I will update.

Thanks again.
