Hey guys , well I finally signed a deposit on a red 2002 P5 w/ac and sunroof with 71 000 km (36 900 miles). It is very very clean (no exterior rust, no scratches, interior minor scratch on dashboard) everything is functionnal. I took it for a test drive and wow it was amazing, listened for rattles and could not find any. Only thing the dealer will have to change is a tie rod and wheel balance for vibration on high sppeeds.

I will take it in for my personal inspection tomorrow just to be safe. And if everything is OK, it's mine!

Well here we go, I did an inspection and the car is immaculate under and out. Only minor repairs, such as rear link, and front shock wich the dealer will repair at his costs. I am taking it home tomorrow.

mine i just got on Monday, 89K imaculate interior, minor surface scratches and one (very minor) door ding on exterior. auto moon roof, 2 litre, cd only black. the gut was asking $14k, i got him down to $12.5k

but there are slim pickings out here on the prairies!

Ya, not alot of choice. I am in Saskatoon, and there were 4 gen 3 MP5's here in the city. 3 where listed at $ $14000 +tax, one at $11500 + tax (*this one had 124000k on it and was a little rough.

the one i got was the only one on private sale, and he only came down as far as he did because he is moving to New Brunswick, and wants to liquidate all his cars before he goes (and 'cause i am such a nice guy... ). i saved one tax this way

advances the timing and 10 hp gain, and helps smooth out the powerband. downside you have to use premium gas.
