Indeed. They are too small to make big difference.
I have them on my '17 CX5 (installed DIY), and decided to skip them for my '22.
Personal opinion, of course.

Nice color!! I painted my calipers but don't have the pics on my computer (work) but if you search you will find it.

Yes, I saw your pix. Did you remove the calipers to paint them?

Nope. Left them on car. I've done several the same way over the years. Prep is key and having the time to do it. Usually takes me a full day. OIl chainge, rotate wheels, clean wheels while off and paint calipers.
