Got new tires at TFT last Saturday but they decided they needed to close before they could do my alignment. Instead of being a dick (I was afraid of customer karma) I let it go, scheduled an appointment for 8am yesterday, telling them I needed to be out by 930 to get to work. I made the mistake of asking for a conservative custom set up. Clown comes back @ 905 saying that the rear camber isn't adjustable. I told him he was wrong, but I needed to get to work. I get to work and look @ the print out and find that he hadn't really touched anything, fixed the front tow a little bit.

In other news the Loiselle Oral Advocacy Competition (inset oral jokes here) started last week. After the first two arguments the top 16 teams advance to the next round and argue again Monday. Only issue is that now I have to argue again tomorrow.

Fun weekend at Mid-Ohio with the gang this past weekend. NASA event.

No. Autox doesn't start till end of May unfortunately. Different group for racing.

Miata group is different. Mods are more bling than anything else. Older group as well. Older than you Mark. They do tech nights though at a local garage and you can use their lifts. Going a week Tuesday to check it out and change my oil.

This has been my experience with places like TFT and NTB. All they ever do is touch up toe. Adjusting anything else and it's game over.

Too the Miata out and did my first AutoX yesterday! Awesome to have it back. Did pretty well, but need those wider tires! So pulled the tigger on TireRack for some new shoes.

Pads and rotors arrived last Friday, RA UR mudflaps arrived Saturday, new shoes ordered yesterday, shoes and lugs should arrive Wed. Looking to be a pretty interesting next week or two. Now I need to find a quiet day somewhere in between to give it a good cleaning and detailing.
