wow luke, that really stinks....what a mess! did you know this loser?
Apparently not as well as I thought. Turns out he had a drug problem some time ago and something triggered it. His girlfriend of over a year didn't even know about his past.
Found out he had another outstanding warrant for thieft. From some time ago and never turned himself in. Can't believe his own girlfriend had no idea. He'll be going to jail for a while for the teft alone, but on top of that they have him for impersonation, identity theft and other stuff.
On a good note I learned how to do background checks through the State Police for the future.

ya, i was going to suggest that going forward...unless it's your brother/sister, you've gotta do those BG checks! sorry bro!
Sorry to hear about that Luke. That really sucks but at least you know who did it and are on the path to resolution. I've had friends steal stuff and never been able to prove who did it. I can be pretty absent minded so I know the feeling when something is missing and you just can't remember the last time you saw it.
On a similar note, Amanda is having her 4th CitiBank Visa card issued to her. Her account has been leaked three times and the other time was from someone at Pep Boys who wrote down her number and used it on Latino porn sites. She rarely uses the card so it was pretty obvious who had stolen it. Not sure what came of it but CitiBank took care of the charges.

Damn Luke! Glad it's all working out. I can just imagine the hassle of it all too. Had my CC numbers stolen once. Only found out when I started receiving odd packages in the mail that I never ordered. Books, DVDs, etc. In the end I made out though as I was fully credited and I was able to keep all the stuff.

in all the yrs i've had and used many cc's i've only had a problem once...some small token amount like $3 was charged to my card, we of course had to get a new card/number (we had used that number for 30+ yrs)

I had my CC# stolen when I was in Europe. They tried to charge my card for $250 worth of merch from a mail order catalog in the Netherlands.
Is there an easy way to clean oil off the underside of a car? The small amount that dribbled down the side of my transfer case when i changed the oil can easily be smelled after long drives. I did my best to wipe it off but the smell is still there. Is there some kind of spray that I can use that will clean it out of all the nooks and crannies.
I have yet to have my CC numbers or any account numbers stolen. Probably because I used to use the shredder at work for paid bills and other stuff like that. I'm also very conscious and skeptical when it comes to my CC info.
When I was in CT, there was a kid who worked at Domino's who tried to take a picture of a student's card via his cell phone (trying to be slick like) while I was sitting there. I asked him WTF he was doing and he said he needed it for verification of the order. I told him to hold on a sec (he didn't get the picture off) and I called his boss right then and there. I got a call back that the kid was fired and an investigation was put in.

I start my new job tomorrow in Cambridge, so what happens today? I'm starting to get a cold...stuffy nose, sore throat, etc. Drinking tea, taking ibuprofin and going to bed early tonight. Hopefully it's just from overdoing it today and nothing major (rode 1.5hours on my trainer this morning, then did a ton around the house).
Also, client I did a site for wants me to do another site and logo, AND she sent the last payment for the other work out so I'll be getting a nice check this week.
