After a hour of installation of my injen... There was a check Engine light on.... I dun know if that got anythings to do with the bracked I had to pull out of the stock intake tubing near the intake manifold because i didn't remounted it... Sorrie for being a newbie here....

Check all the plugs and the MAF. And you might want to try to reset the ecu. Remove the negative and pump the breaks to drain out the energy and plug back in.

THe MAF is the sensor we keep from the old intake??!?!? I think when I try to unplug it, I think I might ****** up...

I try to reset the ecu, but no use... The car almost stalled itself when I start the engine again... I really need some help.... I dun want to take it to a mechanic to fix it...

make sure u didnt reinstall the maf backwards

Wait when you say the thing near the intake manifold, do you mean that solenoid thing that has vaccuum lines going to it? It's gotta be upright, my CAI came with a bracket to remount it. I think on the stock intake it was mounted to a tab near the elbow on the intake going into the manifold. Sorry if that doesn't help, it's all I've got right now.

(hahaspit) Does that reffer to the size of the sensor, or the amount of air that flows through it? ;)

I had exactly the same problem when I installed my CAI. I checked everything and chouldnt find out what was causing the light, then i noticed the the a tube that came off something from my throttle body came lose. Check that too, b/c those hoses are it.

Thx a lot for helping, I'll try to work this out later.... If I still can't get the CAI to work, I'll post some pics up to make it easier to see what going on....

A basic quick check, but a little problem I had when I first installed mine... make sure all your clamps and fitting are seated right and tight. My clamp at the throttle body was a bit loose and caused a problem... tightened it up and BINGO!
