need help asap

installing the hiboost fmic. the intercooler to turbo pipes are off a few inches...easy fix longer couplers. intercooler to throttle body pipes will not line up. s-pipe is flush against intercooler. after adjusting the 45 degree pipe and the large cast aluminum w/ bov flange pipe, it still wont line up...wtf.

please help asap.
also where can i get couplers?

This seems to be a common issue. Does anyone have the trick to the install other than whats been posted already. From the sounds of it there is a certain order to put the pipes on so that all the slack is taken up?.

even if you adjust the pipes it doesnt make a difference. the intercooler to turbo section has a "U" shaped pipe with a bracket welded to it. you are supposed to mount the pipe to a specific hole. after doing so, you can't adjust the pipe, so when you need the pipe to be 3 inches longer(which is true in my case), you cant just gain 3 inches by adjusting the "L" pipe. the only fix is to either get a new pipe made or get an extra long coupler.

do i need to use silicone couplers? can i use another type of coupler?

You can go to like Home Depot and get couplers they will work. For a while......

just get the silicone, why would you pay all the money for the FMIC and then put a s*** coupler on, and besides as soon as it blows off you will have to take the front of the car off again to fix it so just do it right the first time

That is true....My pipe keep blowing off my throttle body, because i had a crappy coupler and my motor moved so much it just keep popping off. So i just went and go a good coupler and it has held on there ever since..

holy s***!!! took the car for a test drive, feels amazing. i am venting the greddy rs without the stok bpv and i did not stall once. the rpms do dip low but always bounced back. i will eventually do the dual bpv/bov setup, but
