navi hack - speed sensor wire switch

where is the "how to" for putting a switch to the navigation system so that it is possible to enter addresses on the move?

i have searched.... i just suck at forum searches.

Well i didnt see anything pertaining to allowing nav to be used while driving.. Unless thats the safe mode feature. Any luck Jonathon?

all ya got to do is run a switch intercepting the speedsensor wire to the nav unit. i got mine all soldered in and a switch in a custom panel i ordered from a guy to house 2 2"1/16 gauges and a greddy FATT. drilled 2 holes for switches in the aluminum plate. 1 for the nav, 1 for the rear LP lights.
