Not from what I researched and heard from other subaru mechanics. But I guess you can't believe everything you hear or read either but it all comes down to me not being able to afford a swap right now so gotta work with what I got for now.

I test fitted the wing on my car to check out kind of what it will look like:

I also got my oil/radiator cap today:

I also started getting my replacement doors ready to paint. Anyone know how to take out the glass so I can remove the handles? Or is there a way to roll the window up or down without it installed? Here is the back of the door to show you what I am up against:

yeah the 99 body 2.5RS or one of the 1st or 2nd body WRXes were what my MSP purchase was up against...

I really like what you're doin with the car dude... if it wasn't in your color scheem, I'd flame you for the STi Oil cap, but... if it fits, it fits.. gotta give that to ya.

Yah I am usally not one to put STI on a car that does not have any STI parts or is an STI its self but it fits the theme of my car and I will eventually have an STI swap(maybe) so it fits. STI is technically a parts manufacturer so as long as you got some parts to back it up your ok. So anywho back on topic:

What's the difference between that bar and the screen protector? I mean, the privacy screen goes in the same spot and is essentially a bar that runs across. Does this bolt in? Do you feel any difference in the car?

It bolts to the strut towers to reduce body flex. And it looks cool.

The gold brackets are bolted to the strut towers. The screen protector is connected to the flexable plastic side panels which does not do a thing. Not to mention that the rod it's self is made out of plastic which does not make it very sturdy. By having a bar connected to both strut towers it keeps them from flexing at hard cornering which reduces body roll. Yes it makes a world of difference. It cut my body roll in half allowing me to take corners twice as fast! lol Which is a must for autoX.
