I am gonna jack my own thread. At my best buy they actually do not make us push the service plan that agressively, they actually discourage against it, all they want us to do is offer for the products we sell that it is available for and explain the benefits. But they do want us to get people to subscribe to netflix, rhapsody, sports illustrated, etc. Also, if you just tell the GM that you are comfortable offering the complete solution as they call it, then you are ok. Most supervisors dont give a s***.1st MP3 in NH said:I am so close to going to BB just becuase I could demand alot per hour and probably get it for just the reason you have described. The problem is I refuse to push the service plans agressively.
Despite the incompetence of the car audio guys, BB is actually one of the better ones in my town. We have a crutchfield store, who are supposed to be the leader in audio, which is such bulls***. My friend had them install his headunit and speakers. His car originally had 6x9's in the rear and the salesman and installer at that time convinced him that 6.5's would be better in the rear. So he got them. I heard his system one day and was like something sounds ****** up back there, it sounded like a tin can. I took off the covers and saw what a horrible job was done. The speakers were not aligned and hitting the rear deck, one of them was crushed due to this. The next problem was the way they installed the plate, they did not put the screws in the holes. It was horrible, so we got his mom, a lawyer to call and she got him better 6x9's and proper installation for free.
