msp or jetta 1.8t??

well i decided to not throw any money on a new car and just work on my stance. buy coilover, tires, spacer(for my fd), endlink and get the rear quarters repaired/repainted. Im gonna keep power for when im out of school and earn a bit more money and can afford a car i really want. i realized that even with 170hp that wont be much more and feel like i wont be satisfied with the stance. P5 is doing well and i like it a lot(minus the rust).

ok for 1 5psi on a k03 doent even match a gt25r turbo at 5psi. the k03 is a joke of a turbo. why do you think most vw owners and audi owners change them out as soon as they recieve the chance 2. pound for pound the t25 makes more power.

Did I ever say they were the same? NO! He was saying they are all slow, not the case by anymeans. I am no longer on the stock turbo either at this point (actually switching the ignition system as we speak to support a few new goodies;) I was nearly pointing out the fact stock for stock the jetta would pull ahead hands down. Both are small engines with known issues that have a small snail attached. I am not a big VW head but I know more than most here, and I have both the cars in question. The jetta has pissed me off right now takeing some of my play money to keep it running.

Wise choice!

the jetta is a true 2.0liter to start with. the MSP is a 1.99 liter. the vw has a better flowing head from factory. pound for pound MSP still a better car for the money you'd pay on a vw jetta. either car can be a beast when built right.
