Mp3 on 20's

Man Why Did U Post That ????

You Know Everyone On This Post Is Going To Hate On A Mp3 With 20's..

But Me Personally I Think Its Great And Looks Good...

yuck.

man, that page made my eyes bleed. you can hardly differentiate the pics from the background. its a mess, both the car and web page.

I hate the mp3 with 20's.

18's max. I see Civic's going around all the time with wheels that are too big. Contrary to what some may think, there is always such as thing as too big.

DAMN I CALLED THAT BEFORE ANYONE POSTED ON HERE....

ANYTHING BIGGER THAN 17" AND YOU ALL HATE ...

I CONGRATULATE THE PEOPLE ON HERE WITH ALL WHEELS 18 OR ABOVE BECAUSE 17" WERE BEST THING GOING IN MID 1990's...

let me give you a little lesson in practicality son. not everyone is a ******* ghetto-ass retard who has to slap 20's on everything. they dont belong on a ******* protege. the car is meant for driving/handling. once you slap 20's on it, you take away all of its ability to handle well because the wheels will rub when you corner hard.
now if you are into show cars and that crap, then i guess 20's will get you more points or whatever. but on the streets with potholes and such, 20's are ******* retarded. especially when you have to run them with paper thin tires. very stupid and non-practical imo.

To each their own, makes the car look lifted and it dwarfs the rotors. Maybe if they were tucked a little bit it would look nicer.

And lest we not forget that an MP3 (hell or a MSP) is not a torque monster. When you combine the lack of torque with the kind of unsprung weight that a set of 20s adds you completely take away any shred of acceleration the car once had. The only place a rim 20" or above belongs is on a big ass ass SUV with gobs of torque and even they have their limits when it comes to good taste.

the performance in "12voltzperformance" needs to be taken out, 20's definetly dont help performance on that mp3 or rsx

Needs a serious drop. If you are gonna spend the money for 20's drop the damn thing to make it look decent. The good ole 4x4 look. Saw a S600 Merc with like 22 or 24's-had more ground clearance than a friggin suburban!

Just like THIS!

(lol) Love this post....

the rims look ok style wise but the car has way too much ground clearance considering the stock springs already lower it by an inch or more, and it has ground effects from the factor, that thing sits atleast an inch or two higher than my pro and mine is stock suspension

I like the wheels. But there just to big for that car.
Now if they where 18's, It would be very nice!
I saw a kid this morning on my way to work with what had to be
atleast 24" maybe 26" wheels on a caprice. It was horrible!!!!
He was trying to back out of the parking spot at the gas station.
